This is the “last week” of the year in the church’s liturgical year! Next week begins Advent; hard to believe! Hoping you will join us this Advent and Christmas season!

Memorial Giving Opportunity ~ We are glad to be purchasing a set of the wonderful hymnal, “Lift Every Voice and Sing II” for use in our church services. If you would like to donate towards a hymnal, or more than one, in honor of a loved one, please be in touch with our rector, Fr. Peter+. The cost of giving a hymnal in memory of a loved one is $40.
Accessibility Project ~ Our contractor, Flatiron Construction, has begun the process to make our church fully handicapped accessible. This is extremely overdue and also exciting to have this project begin. As a part of this process, we will not have access to the front of the church for several months. We will hold services in the Parish Hall beginning on November 20th. We will help people to enter the church either through the “back doors” (on the side near Cathedral Village) or through the blue kitchen door.
Please also know that this is a temporary situation and, before too long, we will have a magnificent and stress-free method for entry to our beloved church.
Fellowship Luncheons on the 2nd Sundays ~ Join us on the Second Sunday of each month for a Fellowship Luncheon in our Parish Hall. Please consider bringing an offering to share with the parish and spend some time in conversation and conviviality. Upcoming Fellowship Luncheon on December 11th.
Aikido Association of America-New Renter of Upstairs Space ~ We have entered into an agreement to rent two of our upstairs rooms to the Akido Association of America and they will be here teaching and practicing Akido (a Japanese form of Martial Arts) a few mornings and evenings each week. We are happy to be partnering with these wonderful folks and also have some additional income.
