The Bishop blesses the new home for women who are part of Thistle Hills, a new program out of Trinity Episcopal Church in Coatesville which "offers women support, love and resources to transform their lives."

The diocese operates wellness centers inside several of our churches. On 5/26, a new one opens at St. Paul's in Chester in partnership with Widener University. They will begin by offering blood pressure checks and health education. When the clinic is in full operation it will offer nurse practitioner services to the community. Stay tuned for a list of all our wellness centers and operating hours.

In this new era where global travel has been curtailed but where global Christian fellowship is needed more than ever, the diocese' Global Mission Commission is challenging parishes to imagine and then share ideas with us. We are inviting parishes in the diocese to submit proposals for maintaining or creating fellowship through technology. Details.

On 7/10, join Bishop Gutiérrez for some summer fun. Enjoy music, food and activities at St. Peter's in the Great Valley, Malvern. Safe-space will be practiced and masks must be worn. Details.

The diocese and the Bishop will celebrate the reopening of Church of the Crucifxion in South Philadelphia on 6/12. This reopening follows similar reopenings of St. Stephen's, Phila. and St. John's Norristown. Join us for a celebratory block party. Details.

The Episcopal Church greets Pentecost with One in the Spirit, a Way of Love Revival Weekend designed to fan the flames of hope, celebrate difference, honor creation, foster beloved community, and send people toward Jesus’s Way of Love. Details.

Concerts for the Human Family, a free artistic collaboration led by The Episcopal Church and Presiding Bishop Michael Curry that explores “the powerful intersection between art, justice and faith,” will launch 5/22 with a free digital broadcast filmed at Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral. Details.

Join us on 6/19 for this virtual visitation to the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem's ministry to children with disabilities on the Mount of Olives. The Archbishop of Jerusalem and Bishop Gutiérrez host this event along with the leadership team at the Center as they begin their 2021 campaign to build for the center's future. Details.

This is a two day event on 6/26 and 7/17 to help Episcopal teens connect their faith with racial healing. Using the outstanding curriculum Dismantling Racism: A Youth Curriculum, this event will help middle school and high school youth have conversations about race and build relationships to address systemic racism in their context. The goal is to help youth connect their faith with racial healing in our communities. Details.
