Feast of St. Mary

16 August 2020 ~ Morning Prayer, Music and Compline on the Feast of St. Mary the Virgin

Good Morning Beloved Parishioners,

Blessings to you all!  I wanted to give you all a "Friday Update" this week.  I hope you know how much I miss you all, and that each of you are. in my daily prayers.  I pray that you all are staying well, staying safe and are finding ways to stay connected with God and one another in this challenging time.  Each day, I have been using the website "Daily Office in Quarantine," which has the readings for the day, presented along with art, and reflections.  I highly recommend it:  https://dailyoffice.wordpress.com/.   Please also check in on our church's website for other resources and links: www.stmarycathedralroad.com

Tomorrow is the Feast of St.  Mary the Virgin and in "normal" times we would be gathering together and celebrating "our" feast day at St. Marys with our service, music, and a luncheon.  This year, in honor of this Feast we have some special music from our wonderful organist, Jonathan Stark.  Many of you have commented about how much you have loved Jonathan's playing, if you want to reach out to him via email, his email address is: jonstark47@gmail.com
