Homeless Ministry at St. Mary's

Those without food and shelter in our own neighborhood as well as the wider community, urgently need your support.  St. Mary’s ministry to the homeless and hungry continues throughout the year with our contributions to Bethesda Project and F.I.S.H.  Poor economic conditions have put a greater demand on our local food cupboard. Shelves are no longer in need of stocking just at the holidays – it is now a daily issue. The Vestry has agreed that the contributions you make to the Homeless Basket will be matched by St. Mary’s and divided between these two organizations, committing to a goal of $200 per month.  At present, we are facing a shortfall in donations. Please make a point to contribute to these outreach projects as often as you can. Cash or check is gratefully accepted in the Homeless Basket.
